En ese lugar se preceder\u00e1 a la limpieza de residuos arrastrados por las crecientes y que se depositan en el puente del vertedero lo que ocasiona inconvenientes en el drenaje de aguas abajo cuando supera el nivel normal. Tambi\u00e9n se proceder\u00e1 a la remoci\u00f3n de un mont\u00edculo de tierra o \u201cisla\u201d que se ha formado por el arrastre de sedimento en ese sector. N\u00e9stor Gonz\u00e1lez, Director de Servicios Viales expres\u00f3 que las tareas demandar\u00e1n una semana. Una vez finalizados los trabajos mejorar\u00e1 considerablemente el caudal de agua del canal Pi\u00f1eiro principal fuente de agua potable para la ciudad.
