El Jefe Comunal fue recibido por la Directora, Prof. Viviana Aguer y dem\u00e1s autoridades del establecimiento educativo. Estuvieron presentes en la ceremonia, realizada en el sal\u00f3n de actos de la Escuela N\u00b0 24, concejales, consejeros escolares, inspectoras de distintas \u00e1reas de la educaci\u00f3n, familiares del recordado Prof. Vilches, alumnos y personal que presta servicios en ese lugar. Luego del descubrimiento de sendas placas donde se impone el nombre del Prof. Juan Jos\u00e9 Vilches, en breves palabras el Jefe Comunal se refiri\u00f3 en primer lugar a los comienzos de la Escuela Secundaria N\u00b0 4 y el sue\u00f1o de su actual directora de contar con el edificio propio. Luego destac\u00f3 la persona del Prof. Vilches y tuvo palabras elogiosas para con su esposa \u201cNegrita\u201d, tambi\u00e9n docente, que lo precedi\u00f3 en el listado de oradores. \u201cHoy me toca ser alumno de \u201cNegrita\u201d, que nunca fue mi maestra pero que ella hoy, con ese profundo esp\u00edritu y esa vocaci\u00f3n docente que ha animado toda su vida, hoy nos da una nueva clase. Seguramente las nuevas generaciones habr\u00e1n sabido aprovechar estas palabras, pensarlas, retenerlas y usarlas\u201d expres\u00f3 emocionado. En otro p\u00e1rrafo de su discurso felicit\u00f3 a la direcci\u00f3n del establecimiento y sus docentes \u201cpor su trabajo para que esta escuela siga creciendo\u201d.
